• Mumbai the economic capital of India is also well known for education
as much as it is for its Bollywood fame. Research centers that are
renowned nationwide and abroad for its scientists are TIFR and
BARC. One of the ten top colleges of India is also located in Mumbai
viz. St. Xavier's College. Moreover the first Veterinary College was
founded in Mumbai. A great number of Mumbai's colleges are almost
