Land Survey
• Construction survey
• the technique, profession, and science of determining the
terrestrial or three-dimensional position of points and the
distances and angles between them.
• used to establish land maps and boundaries for ownership.
• To ensure that owner property borders are accurate, and the
house is built exactly where it's supposed to go.
Theodolite
• An optical instrument
consisting of a small
mounted telescope
rotatable in horizontal
and vertical planes, used
to measure horizontal
and vertical angles.
Auto-level
• Levelling the ground for the
perfect level base of the
building is achieved by
Auto-level.
• This instrument measures the
height of two points on a
horizontal plane, allowing
the builder to measure
whether a bit of ground is
level or not.

etc.)

6. Assign loads
