- Hello! My name is Shelly Terrell and I’m going to share my survival tips for teaching kids English. When I arrived in Germany, I felt more than ready to teach children English, because in the states I had taught them other subjects. On the first day I failed miserably. Children fought, cried, climbed walls, and learned very little English. Since this day I have committed to making myself a great children’s English teacher!
