In the final year of Civil Engineering, we were presented with opportunity
of working on the minor project. We were very excited to make of this
wonderful opportunity, we wanted to take challenging project, which would
be of industrial relevance, beneficial to our college and provide us an
opportunity to practically apply the theoretical concepts we learned in
college, every care was taken to choose a suitable project.
During this project we had to face several difficulties and it’s always
been a challenging task. This project gave us wonderful opportunity to
enhance our technical skill, team-working skills and leadership skills and
provide us with the opportunity of implanting the theoretical concepts in a
In the end it was very good group effort, which made this dream come true.
My heart quivers with the thrill for offering gratitude to those
individuals who helped me in completion of the project. The most idyllic
point of presenting a thesis is the opportunity to thank those who have
contributed to it.
Unfortunately, the list of acknowledging no matter how extensive is
always incomplete and inadequate. Indeed this page of mention shall never
be able to touch the horizon of generousness of those who tendered their
help to me. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude and obligations
to Er. Ravi Rana, Er. Karamjeet Chahal & Er. Gurmeet Singh for her kindness
in allowing me for introducing the present topic and for her inspiring
direction, constructive judgment and valuable propositions throughout this
project work. I am sincerely thankful to all my professor for his effort in
improving my contents of this project.
I am also thankful to Prof. Shruti Kant Sharma (Head of the
Department) for assigning me this interesting project and for his valuable
suggestions and boosts at various stages of the work. A combination of this
nature could never have been attempted without reference to and
inspiration from the works of others whose details are mentioned in
reference section. I acknowledge my indebtedness to all of them.
Last but not least, my sincere thanks to all my friends who have
patiently extended all sorts of help for achieving this undertaking.
