DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Preparation and testing of artificial tooth models by hydraulic press and
sintering process.
 Characterization of natural and chemical stains on tooth models using X-
ray fluorescence, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform
infrared spectroscopy and Scanning electron microscopy.
 Effect of microbes on tooth staining and its removal using some chemical
treatment.
 Animal cell culture studies for biomaterial to check its bio-compatibility,
cytotoxicity and cell proliferation.
 Antimicrobial assay for bone models to determine its ability to be used as
implants.
 Documentation and report preparation for monthly presentation with
Colgate-Palmolive, New Jersey, USA.
 Purchase and lab maintenance for microbial, cell culture and material
processing laboratory.
