Analysis of Tim Laman
Tim Laman’s photography work is inspirational, as he takes images of the world
in remote areas, where many journalists or people hasn’t visited them a lot
unlike the popular places in the world. As his photographs of these remote areas
tells stories of the habitants, which lives in those places and their daily life tasks
to survive in those areas. Unlike many photographers, who photograph everyday
seen things, Tim Laman does the opposite that makes his photographs different
than other photographer’s images.
This is why I am influenced by his photography of wildlife, as he inspires me to
use my own DSLA camera to take the everyday ‘not seen’ things of the world, as
capturing the right moment; can caught the eye of the viewer and tell the viewer
information by a visual image of that specific animal or item.
In additionally, Tim Laman inspires me that photography can be powerful just as
fine art pieces, also Tim Laman pushes me to use more a combination of camera
shots when it comes for me to specialize in my chosen area of photography. As
with the correct camera shot can make the visual in the camera’s lens more
powerful and dominant to illustrate a in depth meaning to the viewer when its
presented to the audience in my exhibition of my work at the end of the year.
