Don’t Blame God, It’s Not His Fault | Self Growth 4 Ever

  1. 1. Don’t Blame God, It’s Not His Fault The first thing to go wrong in our lives and we look up at the heavens and ask, “God why me?” I’ve even seen atheists look up and ask whoever exists up there, the same question. We blame God because we’re ignorant and we’ve been fed information from those that are ignorant themselves. Ever asked someone who is really successful in life, but is also very religious, how they managed to gain such success? You may get an answer that’s something like this, “God gives me the strength and the guidance. Just pray, ask God for help and have faith.” Okay, but how? “You have to believe in yourself and God and know that God will help you.” YES, BUT HOW??!! Faith is defined as an unshakeable belief in someone or something without proof. Try telling someone who is accustomed to failure and a difficult life; that everything will be okay and all their dreams can come true, and it’s easy to see the roadblock you slam in too. It’s no easy task. I see thousands of people go to church/temple/mosque, and pray everyday and some even up to five times a day, and barely make ends meet. Most of them are hard working, honest people who want to get ahead in life and yet they seem to have tremendous difficulty doing so. They say they believe in God and have faith in God, but the truth is, they believe in a God but don’t have faith in God. How can you have faith in God, if you don’t have faith in yourself? Do you have faith in yourself? Are you smart enough, intelligent enough, wise enough or worthy enough for your dreams to come true? Ask the right questions and even the most “faithful” people are faithless. If we claim to have faith in God, then why do we live with constant fear, doubt, anxiety and stress?
  2. 2. So we ask God for help and when God “fails” us, we blame everything on him, relieving ourselves of any responsibility. Yes, blame God for your ignorance, and choose the easy way out! The truth is; God is not responsible for your happiness, you are. To have faith, self-confidence, belief and a positive outlook on life, you need to know how your mind works and the sad truth is; most of us don’t have the slightest clue or idea. I failed so many times in life that I was miserable, bitter, angry and tired. I looked up at the heavens many times and asked God, “Why me, what did I do to deserve this crappy, miserable existence”? When I truly started looking for answers about why I was so miserable, unhappy and unsuccessful, I realized how ignorant I was and arrogant to boot. I had a super computer on my shoulders but I had no idea how to get it working the way it was meant to work. So how ignorant are you? Here’s a little self-test. A friend comes up to you and tells you, “Dude, What the hell happened to us? Remember in school we had dreams, we were gonna to be rock stars, travel the world, some of us said we were gonna be pro athletes, astronauts, doctors, firemen…and look at us now? Only a handful of the people we went to school with, followed through on what they said they were going to do. Look at me now, I still have dreams, but I wake up
  3. 3. every morning and drive to a job I f#@*en hate. You think our dreams will ever come true?” What do you say to this friend other than lie and comfort him by saying that his dreams will come true and at the same time wonder if your dreams will ever come true. If this sounds like you, then you my friend; are pretty ignorant and so is your friend for that matter. I know it sounds awfully harsh, but it’s true! In this day and age with all the tools and information at your fingertips, there should be no excuses for just giving up. You can accomplish anything you wish to accomplish. With a little bit of research, determination and smart work, you can live the life you dream of.
