ABOUT THE INITIATIVE  Science and Maths – Different Locations  Historical settings, garden settings, countryside settings and also in town square social contexts.  Students, visit the location  Learners rotate from one work station to the other doing hands-on Maths and Science activities related to the context where the initiative is taking place.
  6. 6. REASONS FOR DOING IT  To have students engage in more fun Maths and Science.  Acquire a positive perception of the subjects and strengthen the possibility of them choosing science at a later stage of their education.  To strengthen the idea that Maths and Science are all about problem solving and inquiry based learning.
  7. 7. REASONS FOR DOING IT  To strengthen the idea that Maths and Science teaching and learning do not have to be necessarily bound to the classroom. Science and Maths are everywhere.
