Storage in the “Smart grid” – Venteea, France Overview • Commissioned in June 2015 • Implemented an energy storage system on a rural 20 kV network in the vicinity of two decentralized wind farms (6 and 12 MW) to help stabilize the high voltage swings of the MV substation Business Need • MV substation at the end of the transmission line was seeing high voltage swings
