1. Something has happened in the last few weeks
The sun is shining a little brighter, much sweeter is the
breeze.
An ocean filled with dreams,
With visions of you and me.
Where I long to rush to you.
You are the moon;
I’m a tide in the sea.
As your eyes seep into mine,
I see blushing skies,
Which veil my universe that lies
Within your eyes.
Every second you smile, a flower blooms,
Painting the earth in unearthly hues.
Maybe it’s her way of saying that she is happy,
To have our love sown in its being.
But I dare not pluck a blossom from those fields.
Instead I would take you to that place, with me.

2. And let your eyes breathe in an endless field,
Of lilac blooms, budding daisies and lilies.
Which bloomed just because you smiled,
Just because you breathed.
Maybe I said too much,
Or maybe not.
Because never shall these words hold
The heaven you’ve brought
To earth.
When you looked over your shoulder,
I felt like I was born again,
The moon felt a bit older,
As we soaked in the moonlit rain.
