  4. 4. eSubmissions <ul><li>Direct interface into for all specified mechanisms during 2006 </li></ul><ul><li>Targeted implementation of InfoEd proposal tracking & submission by Dec 01, 2006 </li></ul><ul><li>eSNAP has been enabled </li></ul>

Getting Started <ul><li>Make sure you and your key personnel are registered in eRA Commons (does not include reviewer registrations) </li></ul><ul><li>Download PureEdge software from site </li></ul><ul><li>You do not need to register in </li></ul><ul><li>Remember, the deadline for submission is 5:00 local time </li></ul>

Process <ul><li>Download program announcement and instructions from </li></ul><ul><ul><li>No more unsolicited proposals </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Each announcement provides specific instructions related to forms and information for that PA </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>All work is done outside of </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Be sure to save file to your computer / network drive </li></ul></ul></ul>

Submission process (and suggested timeline) <ul><li>Begin routing near final / final budget for approvals at least 5 working days prior to submission deadline </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Email attachment or paper </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Routing form is still paper </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Plan to route final proposal to OSP at least 3 working days prior to submission deadline </li></ul>
