We are getting reports of slings failing during pipe burst.
These reports are coming from companies that use third party rental services.
In all cases, the third party rental service was using slings marked NOT FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING (These are lifting slings) and not engineered to withstand the forces applied during a piping failure.
A SIMPLE WAY TO DETERMINE IF THE SYSTEM IS PROPERLY DESIGNED,
