Controls & Location<br />Two main setting for Privacy in Facebook<br />Account Setting<br />Privacy Setting<br />How to reach these settings?<br />Log in to you Facebook account<br />On your upper right screen there is a drop down menu that say “Account”, click on it<br />After you have completed step 2, you will see the two main settings for your account<br />

Account Setting<br />For privacy purposes you can change a few things in here:<br />Under Settings Tab:<br /><ul><li>Account security (which is mainly to change a secure browsing and login alerts)</li></ul>Under Notification Tab:<br /><ul><li>You can change where you want your notifications to be sent. Therefore, for some reason if you don't want a specific event or private chat to be sent to your email, you are able to change that here.

You can change what notification you want to be sent at, by email or SMS</li></li></ul><li>Privacy Setting<br />Options that are already available for you to choose:<br />Everyone (Which mean that everyone can see all the activities or picture in your account)<br />Friends to Friends (Friends of your friends can see all your activities or picture in your account. But this setting will not let everyone see your profile)<br />Friends Only (This setting is for your friends only. Your friends can only see all your activities or picture in your account)<br />
  6. 6. Privacy Setting<br />Recommendation (Facebook has provided you with a recommended setting that they feel will be right for you)<br />Customization (You can customize all the privacy setting, and also block a person in a specific setting that you do not want to share)<br />

Privacy Setting/Customization<br />You must locate a blue highlighted link that say “Customize setting”<br />Once you are in the setting, it will provide you with all type of setting you prefer<br />You have five options<br />Everyone<br />Friends and Network<br />Friends to Friends<br />Friends only<br />Customize<br />Choose one of those setting, and you can then proceed on customizing your account<br />
