¿Que es un modelo?
Es la manera en la que pensamos acerca de las cosas; la manera en la
que enmarcamos nuestras ideas; nuestro entendimiento sobre lo que
el mundo debe ser y hacia dónde va.
La aplicación del conectivismo como modelo pedagógico ayuda
especialmente al desarrollo de todas las competencias tecnológicas de
nuestros alumnos, y por lo tanto, a familiarizarse con el uso de las
redes sociales como herramientas para compartir su talento.
¿Que es el conectivismo?
Es una teoria del aprendizaje para la
era digital que ha sido desarrollada
por George Siemens basada en el
analisis de las limitaciones del
conductivismo, el cognitivismo y el
constructivismo, para explicar el
efecto que la tecnología ha tenido
sobre la manera en que
actualmente vivimos, nos
comunicamos y aprendemos.

Habilidades importantes en el conectivismo.
Poder reconocer cuando esta nueva información es capaz de
cambiar decisiones o formas de ver las cosas (González (2004):la
vida media del conocimiento).
Discernir entre la información importante y la trivial es vital.
Poder saber de dónde podemos obtener la información que
necesitamos.
Principios del conectivismo.
No solo los humananos aprenden, el conocimiento puede residir fuera del ser humano.
La capacidad de aumentar el conocimiento es más importante que lo que ya sabe.
El aprendizaje es el proceso de conectar nodos o fuentes de información.
El aprendizaje y el conocimiento yace en la diversidad de los individuos.

La información actualizada y precisa es la intención de todas las actividades del proceso conectivista.
La toma de decisiones es en sí misma un proceso de aprendizaje. Escoger qué aprender y el significado
de la información entrante es visto a través de la lente de una realidad cambiante.
La habilidad para ver las conexiones entre los campos, ideas y conceptos es primordial.
Es necesario nutrir y mantener las conexiones para facilitar el aprendizaje continuo.
¿Donde esta el conocimiento?
Las personas tienen mucho más conocimiento del
que parece estar presente en la información a la
cual han estado expuestas. El conocimiento DEBE
ser aplicado.

Este puede ser tomado no solo de
personas, sino de repositorios de
información (por ejemplo blogs,
wikis, búsquedas web, etc.) y de
organizaciones.
Conectivismo como una actividad de aprendizaje.
La inclusión de la tecnología y la
identificación de conexiones como
actividades de aprendizaje, empieza a
mover las teorías del aprendizaje hacia la
edad digital.
La capacidad de formar conexiones entre
fuentes de información, para crear así
patrones de información utiles, es
requerida para aprender en nuestra
economia del conocimiento.

Los estudiantes logran compartir, colaborar, discutir y reflexionar con otros sobre temas de
interés y las conexiones son el punto de partida para su aprendizaje.
Nodos y conexiones.
Un aspecto central del Conectivismo es
la metáfora de una red con nodos y
conexiones. Un nodo es cualquier
cosa que se puede conectar a otro
nodo, como una organización,
información, datos, sentimientos e
imágenes.
En esta red no todas las conexiones
tienen la misma fuerza.
Caracteristicas del conectivismo.
Construido/ creado en
comunidad.
Complejo por su
multidimensionalidad.
Continuo y extendido por los
procesos de comunicación.
Caótico, diverso y difuso.

Ventajas del conectivismo
● Se acopla con nuestra realidad actual en donde los estudiantes
son nativos digitales.
● Permite compartir, colaborar, discutir y reflexionar con otros.
● Mucha variedad de herramientas para facilitar el flujo y
actualización de información y aprovechamiento de los
conocimientos de otros que a su vez aprenden también de otros.
● No es necesario "saber todo" sino lo que se necesita, a través de
los diferentes nodos se puede acceder al conocimiento
requerido.

Desventajas del conectivismo.
Enseñanza-Aprendizaje: Por ser una nueva teoría de
aprendizaje de la era digital, se requiere una nueva
metodología de enseñanza-aprendizaje, en el que en vez de
diseñar cursos, se diseñen ambientes de aprendizaje para
que los estudiantes busquen y creen su red de nodos de
conocimiento basado en sus intereses y necesidades.
Falta de Capacitación de los Profesores: No todos los
profesores están preparados para este cambio, deben ser
capacitados tanto en la tecnología como en su uso desde
esta perspectiva del conectivismo.
Información y Conocimiento: Por la diversidad de nodos y
conocimientos a ser explorados se hace muchas veces
difícil garantizar la disponibilidad, calidad, veracidad de la
información necesarios para formar las conexiones que
garanticen el aprendizaje. Ejemplo: Wiikipedia es un
proceso colaborativo de creación de la información pero no
se puede garantizar que los datos en ella sean totalmente
confiable.

obtener resultados eficientes en
los respectivos trabajos
educativos.
Desarrollar la habilidad de utilizar
las herramientas tecnológicas y el
uso de las tics en los procesos
educativos.
Tener la disposición de investigar o
crear nuevas técnicas de
enseñanza-aprendizaje con el fin
de obtener resultados positivos en
la educación.
Fomentar la creatividad y la
motivación en los estudiantes para
que confien en sus capacidades y
habilidades de construcción en el
entorno de sus conocimientos.

Conectivismo: Teoría del aprendizaje para la era digital

  • 2. ¿Que es un modelo? Es la manera en la que pensamos acerca de las cosas; la manera en la que enmarcamos nuestras ideas; nuestro entendimiento sobre lo que el mundo debe ser y hacia dónde va. La aplicación del conectivismo como modelo pedagógico ayuda especialmente al desarrollo de todas las competencias tecnológicas de nuestros alumnos, y por lo tanto, a familiarizarse con el uso de las redes sociales como herramientas para compartir su talento.
  • 3. ¿Que es el conectivismo? Es una teoria del aprendizaje para la era digital que ha sido desarrollada por George Siemens basada en el analisis de las limitaciones del conductivismo, el cognitivismo y el constructivismo, para explicar el efecto que la tecnología ha tenido sobre la manera en que actualmente vivimos, nos comunicamos y aprendemos. 2 3 4 1 El Conectivismo se enfoca en la inclusión de tecnología como parte de nuestra distribución de cognición y conocimiento.
  • 4. Autor del conectivismo. Dr. Geoge Siemens. “Saber cómo y saber qué estan siendo complementados con saber dónde (la comprensión de dónde encontrar el conocimiento requerido)”. (Siemens, 2004. M T W T F
  • 5. Habilidades importantes en el conectivismo. Poder reconocer cuando esta nueva información es capaz de cambiar decisiones o formas de ver las cosas (González (2004):la vida media del conocimiento). Discernir entre la información importante y la trivial es vital. Poder saber de dónde podemos obtener la información que necesitamos.
  • 6. Principios del conectivismo. No solo los humananos aprenden, el conocimiento puede residir fuera del ser humano. La capacidad de aumentar el conocimiento es más importante que lo que ya sabe. El aprendizaje es el proceso de conectar nodos o fuentes de información. El aprendizaje y el conocimiento yace en la diversidad de los individuos. M T W T F La información actualizada y precisa es la intención de todas las actividades del proceso conectivista. La toma de decisiones es en sí misma un proceso de aprendizaje. Escoger qué aprender y el significado de la información entrante es visto a través de la lente de una realidad cambiante. La habilidad para ver las conexiones entre los campos, ideas y conceptos es primordial. Es necesario nutrir y mantener las conexiones para facilitar el aprendizaje continuo.
  • 7. ¿Donde esta el conocimiento? Las personas tienen mucho más conocimiento del que parece estar presente en la información a la cual han estado expuestas. El conocimiento DEBE ser aplicado. 2 3 4 1 Este puede ser tomado no solo de personas, sino de repositorios de información (por ejemplo blogs, wikis, búsquedas web, etc.) y de organizaciones.
  • 8. Conectivismo como una actividad de aprendizaje. La inclusión de la tecnología y la identificación de conexiones como actividades de aprendizaje, empieza a mover las teorías del aprendizaje hacia la edad digital. La capacidad de formar conexiones entre fuentes de información, para crear así patrones de información utiles, es requerida para aprender en nuestra economia del conocimiento. M T W T F
  • 9. El papel del docente Creativo. Conocedor de las herramientas necesarias. Actualización continúa. Guía del alumno (orientar, guiar, asesorar, sugerir, demostrar). M T W T F El nuevo papel del docente es ser facilitador para la construcción de los nuevos aprendizajes, utilizar herramientas innovadoras para garantizar con ello un aprendizaje significativo.
  • 10. Papel del alumno 2 3 4 1 Orgaizar. Crear. Buscar. Colaborar. Disposición. Los estudiantes logran compartir, colaborar, discutir y reflexionar con otros sobre temas de interés y las conexiones son el punto de partida para su aprendizaje.
  • 11. Nodos y conexiones. Un aspecto central del Conectivismo es la metáfora de una red con nodos y conexiones. Un nodo es cualquier cosa que se puede conectar a otro nodo, como una organización, información, datos, sentimientos e imágenes. En esta red no todas las conexiones tienen la misma fuerza.

  • 13. Caracteristicas del conectivismo. Construido/ creado en comunidad. Complejo por su multidimensionalidad. Continuo y extendido por los procesos de comunicación. Caótico, diverso y difuso. M T W T F Continuo y cambiante. Conectado.

Ventajas del conectivismo ● Se acopla con nuestra realidad actual en donde los estudiantes son nativos digitales. ● Permite compartir, colaborar, discutir y reflexionar con otros. ● Mucha variedad de herramientas para facilitar el flujo y actualización de información y aprovechamiento de los conocimientos de otros que a su vez aprenden también de otros. ● No es necesario "saber todo" sino lo que se necesita, a través de los diferentes nodos se puede acceder al conocimiento requerido. 2 3 4 1
  • 15. Desventajas del conectivismo. Enseñanza-Aprendizaje: Por ser una nueva teoría de aprendizaje de la era digital, se requiere una nueva metodología de enseñanza-aprendizaje, en el que en vez de diseñar cursos, se diseñen ambientes de aprendizaje para que los estudiantes busquen y creen su red de nodos de conocimiento basado en sus intereses y necesidades. Falta de Capacitación de los Profesores: No todos los profesores están preparados para este cambio, deben ser capacitados tanto en la tecnología como en su uso desde esta perspectiva del conectivismo. Información y Conocimiento: Por la diversidad de nodos y conocimientos a ser explorados se hace muchas veces difícil garantizar la disponibilidad, calidad, veracidad de la información necesarios para formar las conexiones que garanticen el aprendizaje. Ejemplo: Wiikipedia es un proceso colaborativo de creación de la información pero no se puede garantizar que los datos en ella sean totalmente confiable. 2 3 4 1
  • 16. Recomendaciones. Estar actualizados en el ámbito educativo con los diferentes programas informaticos para obtener resultados eficientes en los respectivos trabajos educativos. Desarrollar la habilidad de utilizar las herramientas tecnológicas y el uso de las tics en los procesos educativos. Tener la disposición de investigar o crear nuevas técnicas de enseñanza-aprendizaje con el fin de obtener resultados positivos en la educación. Fomentar la creatividad y la motivación en los estudiantes para que confien en sus capacidades y habilidades de construcción en el entorno de sus conocimientos. M T W T F
