  4. 4. Two Programmes The SaltireFoundation will help create these future business leaders via two routes: Undergraduate Internship Programme Fellowship Programme 100 students per year (5 year goal) 20 fellows per year

Undergraduate Programme <ul><li>Aim </li></ul><ul><li>To establish a highly competitive international summer internship programme for undergraduates which will develop and enhance international networks for Scotland. </li></ul><ul><li>Objective </li></ul><ul><li>Opportunity to gain practical work experience in an international context and increase skill set and ambition of Scotland's students. </li></ul><ul><li>Being involved in a demanding project of real commercial significance.  </li></ul><ul><li>Networking with senior level executives.  </li></ul><ul><li>Immersing yourself in the culture of one of the world’s key business locations. </li></ul>

Eligibility Criteria <ul><li>To apply you must: </li></ul><ul><li> be available for 8 week overseas placement starting mid July 2011; </li></ul><ul><li> be in the UK for 4 weeks prior to undertaking 8 week placement (for visa processing, PR activity, networking/briefing events); </li></ul><ul><li> not have previous international business placement experience (as part of your course or other); </li></ul><ul><li> be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study returning to Scotland for final year in 2011; </li></ul><ul><li> be studying at a Scottish university; </li></ul><ul><li> be able to demonstrate your commitment to Scotland; </li></ul>
