How to move files to usb memory stick

  1. 1. How to move files to a USB memory stick (Mac)These instructions are for any file type: photos, documents, presentations, spreadsheets. The word file refers to all of these.
  2. 2. Open Finder and insert your USB memory stickinto the Mac. It will appear up under DEVICES.
  3. 3. Click on File / New Finder Window
  4. 4. If the 2 windows are now on top of eachother, click and hold the grey area and thendrag across the screen. Now you can see both.
  5. 5. In the Finder Window on the right, find thedocument you want to move to the USB memory
  6. 6. If you want to copy more than one file, hold downthe Control key on the keyboard and select the filesyou want. Then continue with these steps.
  7. 7. Move over to the Finder window on the left. Rightclick in the window and select Paste Item to copyyour file to the USB memory stick.
  8. 8. Click on your USB memory stick in the left Finderwindow and look for your file. If you findit...success! If you dont, try again!
