  3. 3. Salesforce1 Adoption Dashboard and Reports ​ AppExchange Package ​ Install this package from http://bit.ly/s1adoption to get a set of reports & dashboards for tracking who logs in when, and from what app (iOS vs Android)
  4. 4. ​ Create a checkbox that is automatically populated to track creation of records through Salesforce1 Custom Actions ​ Create a timestamp field to track when records are modified through Salesforce1 Custom Actions Track Actions Executed Within Salesforce1
  5. 5. ​ Setup à Customize à Object (here we use Opportunity) à Fields à New Custom Field Track Records Created Within Salesforce1 ​ Step 1: Create a Custom Field (type: checkbox) on the object you would like to track
  6. 6. ​ Global Action: Setup à Create à Global Actions à Actions ​ Contextual Action: Setup à Customize à Object à Buttons, Links and Actions Track Records Created Within Salesforce1 ​ Step 2: Create (or modify) a Custom Action to create a new record of that type
  7. 7. ​ From a Custom Action à Edit Layout Button Track Records Created Within Salesforce1 ​ Step 3: Add the custom checkbox to the Custom Action Layout
  8. 8. ​ From a Custom Action à New Predefined Field Value Track Records Created Within Salesforce1 ​ Step 4: Set the default value to TRUE

Track Records Created Within Salesforce1 ​ Now, whenever a user creates a new record using your Custom Action, the “Created in Salesforce1” checkbox will automatically be checked! ​ Create reports using this field to see: •  The number of new records being created from within Salesforce1 •  The proportion created via mobile vs the browser Pro Tip: Use the Created Date field in conjunction with this one to track mobile trends
