5. The National Archaeological Museum is the best museum in Athens.
My favorite part was the display showing arrowheads excavated from
the battle of the 300 Spartans who battled the Persians (made popular
in the movie "300"). It is located to your left as you enter the accessible
museum entrance.

the museum.

Gallery 34 to visit Gallery 48 (finds from the historic site at Akrotiri
on Thera) and Galleries 49-56 (Minor Arts) on the first floor of the
museum. If you take the elevator next to gallery 19, you can reach
the garden-atrium, restroom, gift shop, and coffee shop in the
basement.
