  8. 8. mull When you think through possible solutions to a problem, or the answer to a question, you mull over the information.
  9. 9. mull Do you have to mull it over when you are asked what kind of birthday cake you want? Why or why not?
  10. 10. startle The puppy will startle Alex by licking his face.
  11. 11. startle If someone comes up quietly behind you and surprises you, the person may startle you
