MethodologyFindings & Discussion •Religious-based,andtheresponsibilitytospreadtheinformation. •Costfactor:thereductionincostofproductionwhenworkershaveexperiencedwithSRIskills. Official •Tobringbackthetraditional(organic)methodswhichwereusedduringhisfore-fathers’time. Support Staff •Torebuildabandonedinfertileland,andtoimprovethecommunity’seconomyandlivelihood. Land owner •FormerpaddyfarmerwhofoundfreedomwhendoingSRI,i.e.,noneedforthesafetymeasuresrequiredduringroutinesprayingoffertilizersandpesticidesinconventionalfarming.Also,managementofSRImethodsissimpleandstraightforward.
