As announced on January 14th, 2015, RTView® Core™ 6.5 Improves Performance and Flexibility with Additional HTML5 Enhancements. This webinar reviews some of the new features:
• RTView graphical objects, including rectangle, circle, checkbox, and label objects, have been enhanced to allow them to be rendered as HTML elements in a Web thin-client deployment.
• Status History graph now supports a new property to limit size of label area, mouseover text returns and custom definition of a Right/Double-click context menu.
• TIBCO Hawk Data source includes a new column to obtain the amount of time, in milliseconds, that a subscription data process took

All Rights Reserved.5 RTView Core 6.5 Features – HTML objects now include Trend Graphs, Control objects (c1* objects) and Table Object (obj_table02). – Easy to convert existing displays to using html. • In builder, turn on webLabelFlag (labels) or webChartFlag (trend) to change to html implementation. – Only affects browser deployment. – Advantages of using html objects. • Better performance for display server. • Ability to update individual objects instead of refreshing entire page • Ability to cut/paste from html labels • Not as heavy as flex trends. Can instance multiple graphs in same display.

A default of 30 seconds will still be applied to all queries on cache history tables. http://host:port/rtvquery/cache/Servers/history?tr=600

All Rights Reserved.11 RTView Core 6.5 Features • 19977: New onData Length column – The TIBCO Hawk data source has been enhanced to include a new onData Length column in the RTViewDs GetSubscriptionStatus method. This column contains the amount of time, in milliseconds, that the last onData call took to process the subscription data. – Useful for debugging Hawk onData callbacks. Slow times may indicate issues with transport. • 19818: Hawk 5.1 support – TIBCO Hawk data source has been enhanced to support running against Hawk 5.1.

All Rights Reserved.13 RTView Core 6.5 Features • 19379: Splunk data adapter updated – The Splunk data adapter has been updated to make it compatible with recent versions of Splunk (6.0+). – Splunk Connections are now defined using explicit Host and Port values rather than a single URL as previously. – The Splunk options now contains a search job wait time field (in ms). – The Attach To Splunk Data dialog has some new fields added.
