  2. 2. 2 Objective SIGMA has designed a practical workshop for members of the Procurement Review Body. The workshop, built around EU case-studies, is focused on practical aspects of the work of procurement review bodies. This workshop introduces the structure and approach of the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ) and covers a number of key aspects of the procurement process including: choice of participants - exclusion and selection, contract award, limitations on the use of the negotiated procedure without prior publication, remedies and technical specifications. The workshop includes presentations, exercises and case studies based on decisions of the ECJ adapted to the purposes of the workshop.
