Facts & History.

2. There are two competition events; metal and stonevarpa.
Metal Varpan is made of aluminum / zinc.
The weight varies between 0,5 – 4,5 kg.
The idea is to get closest to the pin.
Varpa is a precision sport that can be practiced by anyone,
regardless of age or gender.
In competitive sports require Varpa, however, both
strength, technique, agility, fitness and good balance.
Competition Rules for varpa throwing can be obtained from
the Swedish Varpa Association as part of the Swedish
Sports Confederation.
Swedish Varpa Association collaborates with clubs in
France, Latvia, Slovenia.
Competition forms
Centimeters throwing.
• In centimeters so measured every throw in
centimeters.
• The measurement is made from varpans nearest edge
of the stick.
• 12 throws is a set
• The sum of the 36 throws is the end result.
• Teams - cm consists of the sum of three kastares
results.
The series shows how a varpa throws out by a right-handed
pitcher. The styles may vary but the starting position is usually
the same regardless lady, Mr & youth.
