A decade ago, an operator’s world revolved almost exclusively around voice – a far cry from the interoperable, pan-operator network topology that has since evolved.
Over the last ten years, operators have had to deal with significant changes, including the advent of 4G, an all-IP environment, and the open infrastructure that came with it. As a result, they’re collaborating with old competitors to fight the new entrants that threaten their dominance.
