Services Procurement Insights 2019: The Big Reveal
Unlock more value from your invisible workforce
Only 25% of executives are highly informed about the quality of work done by their services providers. That is just one finding from the latest global research study Services Procurement Insights 2019: The Big Reveal, which was conducted by SAP Fieldglass in collaboration with Oxford Economics.
The research examines how organizations stand to realize far more value from services providers (companies that supply services delivered by people, such as strategy firms, marketing agencies, and IT consultancies) by upping their management game. The study challenges executives to gain greater insight – particularly into services providers’ quality of work and progress against milestones – to help them obtain a good return on investment.

About the research
SAP Fieldglass collaborated with Oxford Economics to survey 1,050 senior executives in 24 industries and 21 countries. One-third of respondents are C-suite leaders, including Chief Procurement Officers and Chief HR Officers. From a qualitative perspective, we conducted in-depth interviews with multiple executives to capture their insights and reactions to the survey findings. The survey and interviews focused on the use and management of services providers and the corresponding business impact.
