In this session, you’ll learn best practices to attract new people of action, particularly among younger generations. Rotarian leaders at the club, district, and international levels will share their experiences.

She joined Rotaract in 2013 and was the Charter President of Rotaract Club of Taipei Tin Harbour in District 3840, Taiwan. She served as District Rotaract Representati- ve in year 2016-17, Chairman of Interota Rotaract World Conference, and Rotaract Moderator of International Assembly 2019 in San Diego. She is rotarian and she is organizing a new Rotary Club in District 3481 Elyse graduated from National Taiwan University with a major in Life Science

  14. 14. Zenab Djenabou Diallo is President of Brune consulting, a consulting firm specializing in organizational methods and information systems in Abidjan. A Rotarian since 2008, Zenab held several positions with the Rotary Club of Abidjan Atlantis before briefly joining the Rotary Club of Abidjan and finally becoming Charter president of the Rotary Club of Abidjan Ivoire in 2018. Lagos Institute, 2018. District trainer, Banjul 2019. Zenab is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a founding member of the District 9101 Bequest Society, a benefactor and a member of the Paul Harris Society.

  24. 24. Laura Giordano is a Medical Doctor specialist in Nephrology and also Administrator of multi-specialized health laboratories in Naples, Italy, city where she is born and live. She is rotarian of second generation, in fact also the father was rotarian. She became in 2001 member of the Rotary Club of Napoli Flegreo (District 2100), and served as president of this Club in 2013-14; during this year she was also the coordinator of the council of all Napoli’s Rotary Clubs. At District Level she serve as Assistant Governor and Sergeant at Arms, Member of Rotary Foundation and Polio Committee, and District Governor Delegate for recently formed and newly formed Rotary Clubs. She became in 2017-18 the Charter President and actually she is the President of the Rotary Club of Napoli Parthenope. She is multiple PHF and recipient of Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service, in recognition of the exceptional service to the Rotary Foundation and incarnation of the motto "Doing good in the world”.
  25. 25. OUR EXPERIENCE At the beginning the Club was costituted of 20 Members, formed only by people of under 40 years old except the President.

Olayinka Hakeem Babalola is regional safety manager responsible for Shell Petroleum’s upstream oil and gas activities in sub-saharan Africa and chair of the board directors of Riviera Nigeria Ltd., and oil and gas engineering consortium. Babalola, rotaractor in 1983 has served Rotary International as endowment/major gift adviser, Rotary International training leader, member of the Rotary Foundation Cadre of Techical Advisers, committee member, and president’s representative, and Board Director. Babalola is a recipient of RI’s Service Above Self Award, The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorius Service, and Rotary Regional Service Award for a Polio-Free World. He and his wife, Precy, are foundation Benefactor and Major Donors. They support the Foundation through a named endowment found and as member of the Arch Klump Society. In 2019-2020 he will serve Rotary as Vice-President of R.I.

  54. 54. CONCLUSION But in expanding our reach, we have come to better define who we are looking for. Our purpose is not to open our house to anyone. We are looking for the right people, and we want to attract the right people. We are looking for people of influence – People of Action.
