TORONTO – quot;Rosemaryquot; De Caires (born January, 1976 in Toronto, Ontario) was a leader in her early political
life and now practices law in Ontario since 2008. She grew up in the High Park Region of Toronto, Ontario.
The education and empowerment of youth are priorities that have dominated her professional interests and
personal life. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree, and program specialist in Political Science, and
major in Sociology, from the University Of Toronto (1995-1999). She subsequently earned a post-graduate
degree also at the University Of Toronto (1999-2002). Her most recent pursuit includes a Bachelor of Laws
In her day, she earned excellence academic achievement through Honour Role standing for obtaining at
least 80% in her top OAC (Grade 13) courses successfully completed in June 1995. She was one of a few great
leaders in student politics. She was renowned for her candidacy as President of St Joseph College School
(1994-1995). She was awarded the 140th Anniversary Award for her commitment to excellence. Amongst her
list of academic achievements and awards include OAC Religion, Drama and Politics award.
For past few years, she has devoted time to her articles and mostly the theme of what later became Trillium
2008. She is renowned for the focus of Trillium 2008, commonly known as the Trillium 2008 Symposium. Recently,
she was appointed counsel to Trillium in 2008. A Tribute to quot;Equalityquot;: The Heart of a Just Society, Looking Back,
Looking Forward to Spring 2009.
R DeCaires attended case conferences entitled Trillium 2008 in June 2008. She was appointed student
advocate to York in November 2008. She was appointed to York 2008 following case conference events in
November 2008. The approximate total numbers of panel members is precedent.
