In this presentation, we outline the way websites used to work for bands and artists, to how things have changed with social media. We dive into some of our tips from the last 3 year of working with the world's largest artists and half a billion fan relationships on our platform, that we have seen work well for artists to grow their social media presence, by diving deeply into the concept of Edgerank. Edgerank is the algorithm that determines when and where your posts show up, so knowing how it works is crucial to future success. We also go into the idea of Site-To-Social tools like BandPage Everywhere, which allow you to put custom content on your website while still allowing fans to push that content onto their social streams.
