The word anganwadi
means “courtyyard
shelter” in Indian
language.

6. These centres were started by the
Indian government In 1975 as part of the
integrated child development Services
program to combat child hunger and
malnutrition.
A typical anganwadi centre provides
basic healthcare in Indian villages.

7. PURPOSE:
 To make anganwadi works most
efficient to carryout their job.
 They need to provide care for newborn
babies and answer that all children below
the age of 6 are immunized.

• Misuse of food given by government by workers.
• Government is spending a huge amount for

asked by villagers.
• Selling the food to shopkeepers and
earning money.
• Not giving exact amount of items as given
by govern.
•As the attendance for children is
mandatory they can show the list of
students even though they are not present.

Placing C.C cameras in every centres.
This recordings should be automatically
saved and can be accessed by the head of
village or any villager of that panchayat.
During inspection , officers can recognize
the illegal activities done by workers and
can punish them.
Due to this attendance for the students
will not be misused by the anganwadi
workers.
