Tongue twisters in english

  1. 1. Tongue Twisters Get your tongue twisted by saying tongue twisters! The capacity for top-notch pronunciation and enunciation of English words on the part of our S.2 girls were stretched to the limit when they were engaged in uttering more than 10 tongue twisters on October 20. The girls rolled their sleeves up and confronted the formidable challenge head-on. Laughter and excitement spilled and splashed through their pores and they were jubilant over the fun element of the activity. Uttering the tongue twisters was a good vehicle for the girls’ flair for the oral aspect of the language. The young ladies’ keenness on maneuvering their ‘vocal faculties’ really tickled the teachers’ funny bone though. S2 girls couldn’t wait to attempt the tongue twisters. “Say cheese!” Ms. Gabrielle (left), Ms. Chu (middle) and Mr. Lo (right) beamed with delight at the girls’ participation. One of our participants got her tongue twisted while onlookers had a good laugh about it.
