  3. 3. Metalheads Music Genres Metal heads often listen to classic rock along with blues rock, classical, and opera based music, since those 2 genres are the root of what rock music could be considered today and the dawn of all music.
  4. 4. Metalheads Nature Metal heads tend to have a powerful dislike towards the close-minded and mainstream. The majority tend to be very liberal and anti- conservative, but not all of course.
  5. 5. Metal Lyrics and Music Metal lyrics are often quite political and have more meaning than what people say. Metal music is very often stereotyped as “satanic devil related material” . This is the worst stereotype of them all and the reason many don’t give metal a chance. Metal lyrics also deal with independence, pride, and free will. The metal genre has more sub-genres that any other musical genre existing today. These genres are often known as classic metal, death metal, black metal, grind core, thrash metal, symphonic metal, opera metal, folk metal, Viking metal, industrial metal, progressive metal, power metal, etc.

Punk rock is usually played by small bands consisting of a vocalist, one or two electric guitarists, an electric bassist and a drummer. In some punk bands, the musicians contribute backup vocals, which typically consist of shouted slogans, choruses or football- style chants.

  10. 10. Gothic Culture The Goth culture has associated tastes in music, aesthetics, and fashion. Styles of dress within the subculture range from deathrock, punk, and Victorian styles, or combinations of the above, most often with dark attire, makeup, and hair.

  13. 13. Emo Culture The emo subculture represents sadness, guilt, despair, and self-hatred. This subculture is one of the most popular and obsessive youth cultures of today. Fashion for the emo subculture is very interesting. They wear extreme and heavy make-up and sporty clothing. The hair is the most important element for the emo subculture. Usually colored in black, the haircuts are usually short and unisex and covers half of the face. Very popular clothing and accessories include bracelets, stockings, badges, and tight pants and shirts. The emo subculture also has a variety of piercings to match their very unique image. As for music, emos listen to music that is a mix of punk and indie rock.

  16. 16. Teenage Girls Culture Teenage girls, especially the ones who are “typical girls” i.e. pink colour lovers, shopping lovers, makeup lovers etc. are most interested towards romance and love genres of music and movies.
  17. 17. Teenage Girls Favorite Genre Teenage girls are mainly attracted towards love genres, romance and happy music. Some girls who are upset with their partner are attracted more towards sad music that is soft. Mostly breakup songs and songs which express their own life.
