Discussion In section 9.6, we can see that a block “Application Provisioning” exist in Application Functions. 9.6 Description of functional entities common to all three architectures 9.6.1 Application Functions The following clauses provide a breakdown of the Application functions of the IPTV Architecture. Functional blocks identified below the horizontal dotted line are as described in the clause where the high-level architecture is explained. But it can be done by Application Management Functions and Application Profile Functions. So it is not necessary to add the block. Reference FG IPTV-DOC-0148 (15-19 October 2007), Working Document: IPTV Architecture Proposal From the discussion, we can see that Application Provisioning is not necessary, so it is proposed to delete it as follows. Additionally, the title of the block is “Service Discovery & Selection A”. But in section 9.6.1.1.1, the title of this block is “Service and Application Discovery & Selection Application”, which is more accurate. So the name must be unified. The modification can be seen in the figure below.
