Since then have been involved in migration work for Sussex NHS Partnership with onsite audit of all IT equipment to enable them to make a decision on Windows 7. The main tasks have been so far to help then out rebuilding laptops and dealing with HP to get them repaired and given back to teachers. Replacing toners on printers doing a cabling audit, provisioning Office 365 for student mail and also doing a bit of onsite support and helping them out technically. Have also been helping them re-route printers via a script in the group policy and have had two extensions to the contract since October 2013. Also have helped them build up a good working relationship with HP. Also had to do some procurement ordering for replacement HP parts. The job mainly focussed around all-round IT support. This contract was extended three times. I have also done some work for Department of Business and Innovation with Hays Talent Solutions doing a Windows 7 Rollout. This contract was extended once. Last Summer, was working in the private sector for company which has a contract with Schools in Sussex and been doing all round 1st Line IT support for them mainly doing 1st line support and working on IT projects during the summer break. This contract also has been extended once. From last October 2014 to March 2015 for CRI (Crime Reductions Initiatives) as an IT Helpdesk Technician and have been involved in the Gateshead project and bringing down service desk incidents to a manageable level. When I started at CRI is was a very busy time and had helped them bring the sevice desk to a manageable state. As they were involved in a migration from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1. Also had to support applications including the new Microsoft Office suite 2013 including new Windows 8.1 laptops and PC’s and tablets. This was a very busy time for them and got offered a perm role and had numerous contract extensions as the project went on.
