  • -most obese country in the world-it is a problem that can be solved
  • -4 main causes of obesity -illnesses- diseases like depression can lead to overeating/eating disorders -poor lifestyle choices- eating too many fatty foods and not working the energy off creates fat -lack of exercise -genetics- some cases of obesity and appetite tendencies can be traced back to genetics
  • -last resort -too obese for other options -other options have already failed -still must diet and exercise afterward-types -removing fat -making the stomach smaller
  • -finding a balance of healthy foods-not really based on quantity
  • -eating less/smaller portion sizes
  • -great way to lose weight -boosts mood -burns calories -strengthens bones -helps fight diseases like hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease
  • -exercise and balanced diet is best-other option can be helpful depending on one’s situation
