2. Some Facts about Dead Sea
Are you aware that the Dead Sea is not a sea?
It is in fact a lake.
Salt content is almost 35%, which is 10 times that of normal
sea water.
A human body can easily float in it. So you can lie down and
read a book.
High salt content means there is no life in Dead Sea.
No fish, aquatic animals, no vegetation. Nothing can live in it.
That is how it got its name : Dead Sea.
It gets its water from Jordan river.
3. Facts about Sea of Galilee
The Sea of Galilee is just north of the Dead Sea.
It also receives its water from river Jordan.
It is resplendent with rich, colourful marine fish.
It is home to over twenty different types of fish.
It has lots of plants and marine life too.
Is it not a wonder?
Dead Sea and Sea of Galilee are located in the same region.
They both have same source of water.
Yet one is full of life, the other is dead.
How come?
4. Here is apparently why.
River Jordan flows into the Sea of Galilee and then flows out.
The water simply passes through the Sea of Galilee, going in and then out.
That keeps its water healthy and vibrant, teeming with marine life.
The Dead Sea is so far below the mean sea level, that it has no outlet.
The water flows in from the river Jordan, but does not flow out as there are no outlet streams.
Estimate is that over 7 million tons of water evaporates from the Dead Sea every day.
This causes very high salt content in its water, and it is too full of minerals.
This makes it unfit for any marine life, or even vegetation.
The Dead Sea takes water from River Jordan, and holds it. It does not give.
Result? No life at all.
5. Feng Shui works on similar Principles
Learn from the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea?
Life is not just about getting. It is as much about giving. Keep the flow alive.
In the sea of Life, have many outlets. Otherwise stagnancy sets in, creating Dead Sea.
Share your good fortune, wealth, knowledge, love & respect to keep it resplendent ever.
If we do not learn to give, stagnancy sets in.
The love, respect, wealth and knowledge tend to soon evaporate, like the water in Dead Sea.
Do not merely take in more water, more money, more everything.
Flow is the only way of life.
Live smart, live abundant, live prosperous, live joyous….
