• You must demonstrate that your film will have an
audience.
• You must demonstrate an understanding of your
target audience with reference to primary &
secondary research that you have conducted.
• You must demonstrate how your film opening will
target your audience, with examples.

Market Fit
• Here you have the opportunity to relate your
film to successful existing films of a similar
genre etc with a similar target audience.
• What will be your films USP? How will your
film ‘stand out’ in the existing market?

Resources
What will you need to successfully film your opening sequence?
• Locations?
• Props?
• Other elements of the mise en scene?
• Technical equipment?
