Aqualux Carpet Cleaners Business Summary: Aqualux Carpet Cleaning is a carpet cleaning company located in Dallas, TX that offers services such as steam cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet protection and pet odor and urine remediation. Aqualux technicians are background-verified and drug- screened regularly to meet industry and Aqualux standards. As an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Aqualux designed and built all its own carpet-cleaning machinery to be used exclusively by its own technicians. It also uses its own brand of disinfecting solution, AquaMaxx, to clean carpet, tile and upholstery. SWOT Analysis: Strengths:  Integrity in job performance--certified, background-verified technicians with experience/customer satisfaction guaranteed.  Branded truck-mounted equipment exclusive to the company  Unique cleaning solution, AquaMaxx, that is not used by any other company  Environmentally friendly cleaning solution  Will service any city in the DFW area  Technicians arrive at specific times, not within a vague waiting window Weaknesses:  We lack in staffing. (The owner has to pick up multiple jobs and not focus on the aspects of running the company because he is busy with the actual “labored” work.  We are not currently active in social media.  We are not a very engaging company.  We do not have brand that is well-known. Such as mascot or something that represents the company.  We are currently not partners with local businesses.  We lack in loyal cliental. Opportunities  Arranging contract work with Property Management companies, or specific apartment complexes in the DFW area.  Using social media to promote and advertise to new and existing clients.  Using social media as a tool to brand our company.  Use social media to appeal to our target audience in the DFW area.  Keep track of competition.  Update and maintain our website.

Threats  Other locally owned carpet cleaning companies: Kiwi Carpet Cleaning, Dalworth, etc. are already active in social media.  The competitors already have loyal clients in the DFW area.  Many people are beginning to find alternative cleaning methods rather than hiring professional cleaners. IE: People can now rent carpet cleaning supplies and clean their own carpets for cheaper.
  4. 4. Aqualux Carpet Cleaners Social Media Plan Goal: Increase Service Sales in the DFW Area as a whole. Objective 1: Increase service sales by 5 % by April 2016 Strategy: Use social media to market and advertise our unique services. This includes our environmentally cleaning methods.  Tactic 1: Facebook (other flooring sales). We will use Facebook to promote our tile, wood and other flooring sales to new and current customers. By posting flyers and promotional post about our other non-carpet related services. We will also follow our competition pages to keep up with what they are doing and possibly interact with some of their customers as well.  Tactic 2: Twitter (pet sales): We will tweet about pet cleaning services and about other pet related topics. We will also use this tactic to tweet about environmentally friendly habits. We will appeal to the pet owners that have problems keeping their flooring clean. We will also appeal to our customers that are intrigued by our environmentally safe cleaning methods. Twitter will also be used as a branding tool that will allow us to brand the company and market to our customers. It would also be helpful to follow pet related accounts to interact with them as well so that their followers will eventually interact with us as well. Strategy: Use social media to research people in need of our unique services. Research: via keywords, Take this research and follow and DM the user about or services with a special discount. For Example a Social Media Discount.  Tactic 1: Use twitter to search for keywords such as “dirty floors” “pet problems” “new home” and etc. The keywords will lead us to the people that need us and will allow us to direct access to our current and new customers that need our services.  Tactic 2: Email and Facebook Messenger to send direct messages to current customers and new customers about promotions and holiday specials. We could also use Facebook to research or clients and see what the average clients lifestyle is and appeal to them based on what they like and do on a daily basis. For Example is we see that most our clients have wood flooring or tile we could talk about our tile services. Or if we see that a lot of our customers shop at a certain places we could
  5. 5. promote in the stores. Facebook could help us determine exactly who our clients are and what they like. Objective 2: Increase new customer sales by 5 % by April 2016. Strategy: Obtain new customers using social media  Tactic 1: Use Facebook page to draw new customers using current customers. IE: : Current customers get 15% off next cleaning when they get new customers to follow Aqualux  Tactic 2: Sales promotions on Twitter: Tweet about special promotions and limited time offers when our current customers recommend new customers to us and they use our services. We will have limited time offers once every three months to help increase the number of sales rapidly. Example Promotion: 50% off your next cleaning until March 6 when you recommend 3 of your friends to us and they use our services. The promotion should last about a week to a week in a half to help sales. Strategy: Maintain new client base with social media.  Tactic 1: Use Facebook to interact with new customers by replying to comments and encouraging new customers post their before and after pictures of the flooring. We then find the customer and message them with a special First Time Before and After Picture discount. Instagram could also be a tool used for this promotion since they now allow direct messaging.  Tactic 2: Use Twitter and Facebook to find new partners such as apartment complexes, real estate businesses and other businesses that need flooring cleaned. We will also look up businesses online and personally go there and promote our services. The businesses will also receive a special Partner Discount for partnering with us and long term Partner Deals. Objective 3: Increase up sales from current customers by 5 % by April 2016. Strategy: Use social media to advertise discounts to our current customers. These discounts will promote up sales. IE: 20% of your tile floor cleaning when we clean your carpets. o Tactic 1: Use Facebook to research and reach out to our customers that use our services and interact with us the most on Facebook. We could research the customers that comment on our post and share our posts. We will also use Facebook Messenger to directly contact the customers with the discounts. o Tactic 2: Using Twitter we will monitor which customers Retweet and Reply back to our tweets and message them directly with the discount.

Strategy: Use social media to keep our current customers pleased so that they can continue to use more of our services. o Tactic 1: Monitor Facebook comments on our posts and respond to the negative ones by directly contacting the customers by apologizing and with a promotion or discount. o Tactic 2: Use Twitter to monitor Mentions/ Direct Messages and reply to Mentions with discounts and etc. We will use emails to send out “How Did We Do” surveys to customers after they have used our services promote the completion of these surveys with discounts once the surveys are completed.
