Corporate New Business Manager – Barclaycard Global Payment Acceptance (Sept 2011 – Feb 2014) Key responsibilities: • Recruit New Business, exchanging legal contracts with companies within the Medium Business market selling the full range of Global Payment Acceptance solutions. • Responsible for developing and executing personal sales plan to achieve income target of £350k amongst other key metrics • Own/Direct/Produce and deliver new business quotations/proposals and presentation material. • Build close working relationships with allocated Barclays Medium Business team contacts and other Group/external key business influencers to create New Business opportunities. Key Achievements: • 150% of target 2012 whilst in first full year of role. • Recruited Leeds University Student Union, Prestige Gifting Ltd and a variety of 02 Franchises in group deal. SME New Business Manager – Barclaycard Global Payment Acceptance (Jan 2010 – June 2011) Key Responsibilities:- • Recruit and implementing payment acceptance solutions across the SME market in a highly competitive environment, by way of generating new business from a variety of sources including cold calling to develop leads and by building relationships with Barclays bank Business Managers. • To develop and maintain relationships with KBI’s –profitable deal in place with the Manchester Chamber Plus a procurement advisor to the chamber of commerce’s clients.
