The logotype must always be surrounded with open space. The space on the top and bottom should be at least double the height of a letter. The space on sides should be at least the width of the letter. The only exceptions to the logotype rules relate to: – Its use within the platform signet – The combination logotype with crest height of the logotype away from and below the logotype. Logo type MUST be printed in black, white, silver, red or shades of grey. ANY exceptions must be agreed with the Porsche AG marketing department. Refer to the section titled <Colours> for approved PMS and Pantone colour standards. These exceptions are only permitted if there is NOT ENOUGH FREE SPACE for the Porsche marque logo: e.g. in the case of give-aways such as ballpoint pens and embroidered caps the crest, or where it is not possible to conform to the marque’s permitted width of 30 mm. The blank space around the crest must be at least half the width of the crest to each side and half the height of the crest above and below. EXCEPTION Any enlargements or reductions must always be made to exact scale Crest height cannot be less than 10mm. Smaller sizes will cause blurring. This is an absolute minimum requirement. For the front pages of brochures etc., one crest height counts as the default for free space.
