2. Broiler (Poultry) Background
• Broilers are domesticated chicken that are
bred and raised specifically for producing
meat
• They are raised until they are used for either
their meat or for producing eggs, which are 2
resources that man often use as food.

3. Computations
• The Growth Rate cannot be exact since it can
change. Here, data for the next following years
is estimated using a fixed rate. The formula
used to estimate the data is: (X*Growth Rate)
+ X, where X is the previous data before the
missing data

• If the growth of consumption remains at
3.73%, this will be the production in the next
20 years

• If the growth of production remains at 4.59%,
this will be the production in the next 20 years

• Current growth rate is 1.8% according to
IndexMundi

9. Estimated Human Population (2014-

• If the current growth remains at 1.8, this will
be the population in the next 20 years

10. Recommendations
• Broilers must be imported to make sure that
there is enough for the next years. After year
2032 however, the broilers produced will be
higher than the consumption, thus not
needing to import and possibly needing to
export.
