History Of Tamishna Group
Tamishna Group created in 1991, TAMISHNA GROUP has established itself as a
leading exporter of knitwear to various parts of the world with its vertically integrated
production facilities located in Bangladesh. Our factories situated in Tongi are
strategically positioned on the outskirts of the capital city Dhaka, constituting an entire
complex comprised of several multi-storied buildings with supporting facilities, built and
owned by the company.
We have focused on creating a vertically integrated setup that includes in-house
production of polyester sewing thread and polyester buttons, printing, as well as dyeing
of cotton, cotton-acrylic, viscose, nylon yarn. It is by leveraging synergies across our
group under the Tamishna brand that we produce high quality knitwear in the shortest
possible lead times, incorporating the highest possible quality.
The Tamishna brand currently consists of seven units operating both individually and
collaboratively to deliver according to customer needs.

Overlock Machine

Overlock machines are one of the most efficient ways of
producing a professional finish on your sewing.
Overlock machines are an essential part of commercial
sewing to get a professional finish, especially in garment
stitching.
Most are used in industry for edging, hemming and seaming
a variety of fabrics and products.
Overlock sewing machines usually run at high speeds,
from 1000 to 9000 rpm
Work process
At first, sewing with an overlock machine discourages
many beginner sewers.
Generator
Generator are machines that Produce electric energy in the
voltage and current. Electric Generator also called
dynamo.any machine that convert mechanical energy to
electricity for transmission and distribution over power
lines to domestic, commercial and industrial customers.
Types of Generator :
There are two fundamental types of generator. Known as AC & DC generator. Generator Parts Generators have a
few essential parts that help turn gasoline, solar energy or diesel fuel into usable electricity for commercial,
residential, industrial and municipal buildings. While generators do not require a lot of maintenance, it’s
important to understand the major components in case certain replacement parts are needed or general
maintenance is required

Over the last 6 years, we have succeeded
in reducing the group’s CO2 emissions by a
calculated average of 4% by introducing
and installing exhaust gas boilers, chillers,
and wastewater heat recovery equipment.
We have been awarded substantial grants
by USAID against the execution of these
projects.

WASTE
We collect waste materials containing Polyprepene (PP)
and feed them to our recently installed plastic recycling
unit by converting the waste materials to PP granules.
These PP granules are then used to make poly bags,
yarn cones and blister packs.
IMPROVING
WASTEWATER QUALITY
ETP Plant is using MBR technology and equipment
imported from GE Water at a total cost of 4 million USD.
