Rolf Reitz on RCCI and Other Highly Efficient Engine Concepts

Published on

Rolf Reitz is developing advanced computer models for fuel injected engines, including diesel and spark-ignited engines. Here he discusses the benefit that accurate spray modeling and combustion simulation can have in bringing forth new engine concepts like RCCI. Reitz is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He's also a member of the Wisconsin Engine Research Center (WERC), as well as the Model Fuels Consortium. This video is part of the Distinguished Speaker Series brought to you by Reaction Design.
