Result and findings <ul><ul><li>Most of the dealers are dealing in 232 count range. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Price of 248 is more as compared to other counts. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Price charged by vardhman is highest as compared to other mills. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>There is 50% increase in price of acrylic yarn as compared to last year. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Price and quality are the major factors that dealers consider important while purchasing acrylic yarn. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Price of 232 is vary between 220 to 245 and in case of 248 price is vary between 245 to260 </li></ul></ul>

Suggestions <ul><li>There is 50% increase in price of acrylic yarn as compared to last year and the future projection of demand also showing upward trend therefore it will be quite profitable and also a good option to enter in. </li></ul><ul><li>Price and quality are the major factors that dealers consider important while purchasing acrylic yarn therefore firms has to work upon these factors. </li></ul><ul><li>Consumption of 232 is more as compared to other counts therefore it is better firstly to try in this range. </li></ul>

Limitations of study <ul><li>Since the survey was done only in Ludhiana yarn market the result obtained may not be taken as universal suggestion. </li></ul><ul><li>Quality of the information highly dependent on the knowledge and mindset of the respondents. </li></ul><ul><li>Sample size is small so we can not generalize it for whole industry. </li></ul><ul><li>Some dealers did not provide true picture about their consumption </li></ul>
