  1. 1. Culture Food: Russian like soups Borscht, Shchi, Ukha, Rassolni, Solyanka, and Okroshka. Religion: Russia is a communist country which doesn’t believe in religion Language: The language in Russia is Russian.
  2. 2. Region Russia is also surrounded by Asian and European countries, It’s north side is the Arctic.
  3. 3. Capital The capital city of Russia is Moscow. This city is the biggest of all in Russia. The buildings In Russia are really big and very famous.
  4. 4. Weather In Russia it is really cold in most places. Most people in Russia wear thick layered jackets, scarf, hats, and boots before they go anywhere outside.
  5. 5. Flag The Russian flag has three colors white, blue, and red. White means peace, innocence, and perfection. Blue means faith and loyalty. Red means energy, power, and blood.
  6. 6. goverment The Government of the Russian Federation exercises executive power in the Russian Federation. The members of the government are the Prime Minister of Russia (Chairman of the Government), the deputy prime ministers, and the federal ministers. It has its legal basis in the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the federal constitutional law "On the Government of the Russian Federation.
  7. 7. Education The literacy rate in Russia, according to the 2002 census, is 99.4% (99.7% men, 99.2% women). According to a 2008 World Bank statistic 54% of the Russian labor force has attained a tertiary (college) education, giving Russia the highest attainment of college-level education in the world. 47.7% have completed secondary education (9 or 10 years old); 26.5% have completed middle school (8 or 9 years old) and 8.1% have elementary education (5 years old).
  8. 8. Economy The economy of Russia is the eighth largest economy in the world by nominal value and the sixth largest by purchasing power parity.  GDP (PPP):  $2.4 trillion  4.3% growth  2.8% 5-year compound annual growth  $16,736 per capita
  9. 9. History The history of the Russian Federation officially starts in January 1992. The Russian Federation was recognized as the legal successor to the Soviet Union on the international stage. Between 1922 and 1991, the history of Russia is essentially the history of the Soviet Union, effectively an ideologically communist based state.

Invention Indigenous inventions like maser, satellite, ICBM Products and objects that are uniquely Russian, like Saint Basil's Cathedral, Matryoshka dolls, Russian vodka Products and objects with superlative characteristics, like Tsar Bomba, AK-47, Arktika class icebreaker. Scientific and medical discoveries, like the Atmosphere of Venus, Vitamins, Viruses.
