  • Hi David! As a Licensed CA & WA Green Architect & Designer I know what a ’Green’ building means beyond the color 'green'. This was just a brief PROPOSAL during start of Schematic Design. Building Proposal has horizontal & vertical sun shades that change per solar orientation of building, low-E double pane glazing with horizontal shades that continue inside to bounce sunlight off of ceilings, thick walls with extra insulation beyond commercial requirements, solar PV roof canopy on top floor of garage, garage has electrical car recharging stations, reclaimed water storage for landscape irrigation, low energy efficient lighting with motion sensors / timers / light level sensors that turn artificial lighting off when not needed etc, etc.... Just a very short slideshow from basic Animoto membership from the beginning of the project to show client an office building with Green options that were discussed in depth at client meetings. Project stopped at end of Schematic Design due to collapse of economy & was never thoroughly developed & built.

  • Making a building green does not mean just the color. Very shallow presentation.
