Country Music Genre Background By M.Raja

  1. 1. By M.Raja
  2. 2.  Country Music is a genre of American popular music that originated in the rural regions of the southern united states in the 1920s.
  3. 3.  Country music often consists of ballads and dance tunes with generally simple forms and harmonies accompanied by mostly string instruments such as banjos, electric and acoustic guitars, fiddles, and harmonies.
  4. 4.  Although this type of music is common in America and uncommon in England, Country music today has become a great genre due to the uniqueness of its style and the different experience it provides from merging this genre with other genres. For example most people here in the UK have heard of Taylor Swift, she produces country songs that have Pop influences. Similarly we wanted to go for something different and increse our target audience range.
