Professional Experience Project Title: SHC Connect Client: Stanford Health Care, US Period: July 2014 – Till date Designation: Software Engineer Employer: Stanford Health Care  Lead SharePoint Developer and Administrator for SharePoint 2016 Upgrade project: Lead this mission critical project to upgrade existing SharePoint 2010 environment to SharePoint 2016. We had to upgrade not only SharePoint content database but also custom solution developed in-house. we had to redesign custom master page to make it responsive to display contents on various devices like mobile, tablet and standard desktop browser. The challenge was to get rid of multi GB analytics database accumulated over several years on each SharePoint content database. We developed highly efficient PowerShell script to extract only site content from SharePoint 2010 and migrate to SharePoint 2016 and leave analytics data on SharePoint 2010 environment itself.  Lead SharePoint Developer for SharePoint 2016 Search Enhancements: We configured SharePoint 2016 search farm to optimize the use of search servers and reduce the CPU usages to less than 90%. We also customized the search center and created custom search verticals, developed display templates and configured custom search refiners. We also made search center to be compatible with various devices like mobile, tablet & desktop browsers.  Lead SharePoint Developer for SharePoint Components: We developed custom solutions for nursing department which enabled nurses to raise request through this module named “Access Request Form” and request would go through multi-level workflow approval process before its gets resolved. SharePoint 2010 has been implemented to provision intranet portal and team site for various SHC departments and projects. It enables employees to author web pages using various out of the box and custom built web parts, collaborate and publish the webpages and documents like MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF. We also developed a custom solution for Office of Emergency Management(OEM) department, which enabled all department to publish disaster management plan to OEM.

I also developed master page and page layouts to included Novartis branding. I developed custom search component which enabled users to search documents based on their preferred brand and disease. This search component was also having custom refiners and sorting capability. Project Title: TAS 5.0 Client: Ementor Denmark A/S Period: Oct 2007 – Aug 2009 Designation: Project Engineer Employer: Polaris Financial Technology, Chennai Project Summary: Customer Agriculture Processing Application is a subsidy Management system is used by Agency for Governmental Management under the Danish ministry of the Directorate for Food, Fisheries and Agriculture Business (DFFE). CAP implements all subsidiary process requirements based on SOA principles. Application’s architecture involves availability of smart clients all over the world interacting with the WCF service. Smart clients are built using Infragistics, while the service includes WCF (Hosted on IIS), Service Facade layer, Data Access layer and Oracle database. All the service layers were loosely coupled and the interaction between them is based on the facade and abstract factory, which enables interface based implementation of layers. Automated unit tests were executed using the VS Team edition on a regular basis. Application would eventually be implemented for DFFE Ministry in Danish Government. Responsibilities:  Involved in Service side for developing objects in WCF layer, Service Facade, Data Access layers based on use cases and domain models.  Involved in writing Database stored procedure and prepared unit test methods using TFS.  Creation and modification of the database objects as per requirements.  Played a key role in Code Review, preparation of UT Test Scripts.
