  1. 1. Being an empowered woman from the age of 17, the aspiration of an entrepreneur stemmed through various life stages. Working in a real estate agency, travelling different countries across the globe and having the opportunity to study outside my home equipped me with the experience of different cultures, further enabling me to gain expertise and achieve a first class honours in Middlesex university. I am currently on the path towards pursuing a PhD to become a field expert in entrepreneurship It is my mission to use this research to further enhance entrepreneurship of Saudi Arabian women. Currently I am looking into creating an Arabic and English-language website which would highlight how powerful Arabian women have achieved their success. My vision is to have a platform for all such women to inspire and empower other Arabian women. This idea is in its early stages. For further information, please contact me on LinkedIn or by email. 2. 2.  A business ecosystem is the network of organizations, including the manu- facturers, distributors, suppliers, and consumers, involved in the delivery of a product or service.  William B. Gartner defined entrepre- neurship as “the creation of organiza- tions”. Becoming an entrepreneur re- quires an individual to raise capital, develop a unique selling point, and assume the risks of a given venture.  Empowerment is defined as provid- ing someone with the capability to be in control of his or her own destiny and habits. It is centred on the notion that individuals should hold the skills, resources, authority, and opportunity to complete their own objectives with- in business. Nabil Ayad, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of London, discussed the need to explore the gen- der differences with relation to leader- ship values in order to empower wom- en toward leadership roles, such as entrepreneurship (Ayad, 2004).  Saudi Arabia has encouraged an ecosystem of female entrepreneurship and has afforded women many opportunities particularly since 2005.  The results of the research uncovered 5 key themes that influenced the ability of women to become entrepreneurs in KSA. These five themes are: Financial Ability Familial Support Educational Opportunity Technological advances Religious and Cultural Acceptance  The female participants were overwhelmingly supportive of the opportunities they have been provided, particularly through their training at such as Badir, Umm Al-Qura, Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University and Qotuf  The use of Social Media such as Snapchat, Instagram and twitter not only provide an unprecedented platform for ecommerce but allows women to participate in live broadcasted lectures and professional development.
