45. DIVISION LEARNING
RECOVERY PLAN
Since schools in the Division of Romblon
are opening doors towards operating
from modular distance learning to limited
f2f mode of learning, and fresh from the
negative effects of COVID-19, the
division has to craft a Learning Recovery
Plan as it looks forward to post-pandemic
efforts that will safeguard and guarantee
parallelism, coordination, and impact of
programs, projects, activities towards the
direction and thrust set by the DepED.
Objectives
Given the prevailing situation, the following objectives are
set in order to ensure that schools can move forward to the
new normal as it recovers from the different learning gaps:
1. Diagnose performance of learners comprehensively
2. Set up strategies to remediate and accelerate learning
3. Intensify reading, writing, and numeracy interventions
4. Conduct trainings on adaptive teaching strategies and
classroom assessments
5. Shift from traditional approach to tailored acceleration as
part of the professional development of teachers
6. Address the socio-emotional and behavioral recovery of
learners
7. Ensure well-being and protection of school personnel,
learners, and parents
8. Strengthen and sustain stakeholders’ support towards a
well-founded, resilient and effective continuity of learning in
times of crisis
