Flamenco<br />The Flamenco is a dance with countless different versions depending on mood and occasion such as death and mourning or marriage and celebration <br />The Flamenco can be danced with couples or singles but is most commonly a single dancing woman <br />Danced, slower paced and more elegant with long dramatic sweeping movements of the hands and body <br />That are sometimes coupled with short powerful stomping motions of the feet that are meant to keep a beat<br />

  5. 5. Traditional Dress <br />Flamenco Shoes: the only real necessity to the outfit. Must be tight fitting, with a 2 inch heel to make firm stomping noise<br />Flamenco Skirt: Very long with a large flare and many ruffles. Has a “full” look.<br />Accessories: Silk Flowers, Fans, Earrings, Castanets, Shawls are sometimes added to personalize a dancers appearance<br />
